New device catalog
There are more than 60 radios that support Meshtastic/Meshcore, which can be confusing when choosing. Here we try to simplify it by clearly explaining the practical capabilities of each one and which fits your use case best.
Important notes
- We list only devices on the sub-GHz LoRa ISM bands used by Meshtastic/Meshcore. The legal band depends on your region: 902-928 MHz in the US and most of the Americas, 868 MHz in Europe, 915-928 MHz in Australia and New Zealand, and around 920-925 MHz in much of Asia. Check your local rules and pick the matching frequency variant. See the Meshtastic regions guide.
- How many devices are there? See the device lists for Meshtastic and Meshcore.
What are you looking for?
Most affordable: The cheapest models to get started with Meshtastic/Meshcore. Great for a first node or for building several without spending much.
Ready to use: They come with a case and are ready to power on and use. You do not need to assemble or print anything.
Field and emergency: They have a built-in battery for use away from a power outlet, on trails, in the field or in an emergency. Models with the nRF52 chip last much longer per charge.
Coverage: Nodes built to extend the mesh range: repeaters, 1W boosters and solar nodes that stay on around the clock.
Do it yourself: Boards without a case, for those who want to build: print a 3D case, solder an antenna or integrate into your own projects.
